Her first lead role came on screen in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg chose Moore to play the lead in Jurassic Park: The Lost World. It was one of the most popular films released that year. She starred in Magnolia (1999) that received a favourable review and was awarded an SAG nomination for her part. The Hours, a 2002 film that she co-starred in alongside Nicole Kidman and Meryl Strreep was nominated for 9 Academy Awards. More movies Moore starred in includes The Forgotten (2004) Freedomland (2006) Shelter (2010) and Shelter (2010). In 2014, she was in Non-Stop. Moore has been on numerous films and television shows. Her most recent prominent roles was In 2022, After You Finish Securing the World. She has made her mark on the screen in Hollywood as well as being a children's author. She published her first book Freckleface Strawberry in 2007 and it became an N.Y.T. This best-seller was turned into a movie, series and even a musical. Also in 2013 Moore released her novel My Mother is a Stranger. Moore is known as a renowned writer and actress. Moore married John Robin back in 1984 The couple split in 1996. Bart Freundlich, whom Moore later married in 2003, is a father of two with Moore. Moore's focus is on her family, friends as well as her career.
