Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast and a captain of The US women's Olympic gymnastics Team 2012 Fierce Five and in the year 2016. In 2016, she was part of the Final Five. At the 2012 Olympics in London she was awarded gold medals in team and floor competitions and bronze medal on the balance beam. She was the only American to be awarded the most medals at an Olympics. In 2016, the Olympics included her winning gold in the team event, earning her and Gabby the honor of being the first Americans ever to have consecutive team golds. Additionally, she won silver medals in the all-around individual event and in floor exercise. She took a break of three years between each Olympics to not compete in gymnastics. Furthermore, she was a member of two gold medal-winning American gymnastics teams. Her favourite event is floor exercise. The gymnastics training began when she was two years young. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in honor of her grandmother who died from cancer. She would like to become fashion-forward and increase the range of her socks and leotards in the near future. Fierce will be published at the end of summer.
